Key Elements:
• PROGRESS Wrestling comes to Dubai for the first time ever. Working with local promotion Wrestlefest DXB, and recognised by the Dubai Sports Council, they will be making history across many levels as they look to support the growing wrestling community in Dubai.
• Our host Session Moth Martina, the first Irish ring host in Dubai faces Lizzy Evo ( the former Eliza Alexander) the “first Scouser to wrestle in Dubai”.
• The Sunshine Machine of Chuck Mambo and TK Cooper are not risking the PROGRESS tag team titles against local Dubai favourites, MK and Fayez, but that doesn’t mean they are not taking this match seriously.
• PROGRESS Atlas Champion, Big Damo (formerly Killian Dain), the “Beast from Belfast” is putting his title on the line against the always impressive Dan Moloney of the 0121.
• Shaheen is the first Emirati to fight outside Dubai, and as Dubai World Wrestling Champion he now faces Tate Mayfairs, whose “Tateness is Greatness” should find fans in Dubai.
• Spike Trivet, the PROGRESS Men’s World Champion defended his title against MK in October, and now has a very difficult defence against former SAnitY member Axel Tischer (formerly Alexander Wolfe).
• History is made with the first ever Women’s World Championship match in Dubai, as newly crowned champion Lana Austin, the “Queen of Mean” faces the recently dethroned Kanji, the “Dragon Slayer”. These two strong rivals will ensure that this historic match is a worthy one.
HOST & COMMENTATORS
Session Moth Martina becomes both the first Irish and the first female ring host in Dubai, and will bring her entertaining style to this historic show.
Olie Spring and So Cal Val are on commentary. Olie has a long history of commentating duties across the UK and So Cal Val is a legendary commentator with a very respected wrestling CV.
Tom Scarborough, a referee of great international experience makes his own Dubai debut.
