8. Chris Brookes vs Kid Lykos – No Disqualification Match
Key Elements:
• Rhio and Taonga kick off proceedings with Rhio keen to get back into winning ways but Taonga should never be underestimated.
• Luke Jacobs hopes to bounce back from losing the PROGRESS Atlas championship after an illustrious run as champion but Masahiro Takanashi, all the way from Japan stands in his way.
• Jetta and Charlie Morgan make up The Royal Aces and are keen to dominate the female division. No one is taking over the women’s division more than The Lana Austin Experience. Skye Smitson teams with the debuting LA Taylor here in tag team action – but Lana Austin will probably not be far away.
• Fresh from two hard hitting encounters two days previously Dominic Garrini and Kevin Ku, Violence Is Forever, do battle with Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher, more commonly known as Aussie Open – but nothing common about their exciting form.
• In the first quarter final of the Natural Progression Series 8, Hungary’s Peter Tihanyi does battle with Ricky Knight Jr.
• The 0121’s Dan Moloney already holds a victory over Elijah and looks to make it two as his road to the top of the card continues. Moloney was not happy being hampered by spike Trivet’s interference in his title match against Big Damo and will want to plot the journey to his ultimate revenge.
• Big Damo, the new PROGRESS Atlas Champion’s first defence comes against one of Japan’s finest exports in the form of Shigehiro Irie. Big Damo returns as a PROGRESS Champion and will want this reign to be longer.
• Few wrestlers have more history between them and yet have not faced each other, with Chris Brookes now residing in Japan and representing CDK, and Kid Lykos a part of Lykos Gym. The former CCK team mates go one on one, under No Disqualification rules. This promises to be special.
