Key Elements:
• Lykos Gym simply can’t be trusted and knowing this Kidd Bandit enlisted the help of another PROGRESS debutant, Warhorse, to make this into a tag team match.
• Raven Creed debuted against Taonga back in the closed doors era, and both talent have evolved into serious contenders not to be messed with.
• The Lana Austin Experience have been trying to run the women’s division and have been successful for the most part. The unlikely pairing of Rhio and Jetta have common enemies in Lana Austin and LA Taylor and will look to put an end to their evil ways.
• Kanji has proven to be an incredible performer and champion, and her desire to defend against the best means Millie McKenzie has deservedly got a PROGRESS Women’s World Championship title shot here. Two talent who will not go down without a fight promise to steal the show.
• There could only be one place to reunite FSU, and that is their hometown of Cardiff. Mark Andrews returns to PROGRESS and Eddie Dennis will be keen to avenge his recent hometown loss. They face Omari and Man Like Dereiss, two talent who have all the capabilities to upset the homecoming party.
• The Natural Progression Series 8 quarter finals are completed when Nico Angelo, almost an honorary Welshman, battles CPF’s globetrotter Joe Lando. Hard hitting aerial encounter guaranteed with the winner to face Tate Mayfairs in a semi-final.
• With both teams holding victories over each other this was always going to need to have the stakes risen higher. Greedy Souls have recent victories over Smokin’ Aces and, importantly, Lykos Gym and gained their Number One contenders’ match. They wanted their title shot here in Wales, and it’s an elimination tables match. Sunshine Machine are looking to break records but just holding onto their titles will be the first priority here.
• Mike Bird won the Number One contender’s slot in Manchester just one week ago in the inaugural Super Mob Smash XII match and could only look to take his shot in Cardiff. Spike knows that Mike is a very real danger to his PROGRESS World Championship and the undertones of class war are going to mean a rabid hometown audience.
