Key Elements:
● The PROGRESS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - It has all come to this: three teams, inseparable in so many ways as to who will rule the PROGRESS tag division. The 0121 do not have any advantages despite going in as champions and Smokin’ Aces are the team that carried PROGRESS through the last year but can Sunshine Machine escape the mid-card once and for all. A ladder match for the PROGRESS tag team titles. A LADDER MATCH - not to miss, and what a start to Day 2.
● Big Damo and Dean Allmark look to get immediately back to winning ways as the two veterans who were eliminated on Day One of SUPER STRONG STYLE 16 face one another in singles competition.
● The people's favourite Gene Munny will have to overcome the hard hitting king of striking, Malik, if he is to get to the semi finals of Super Strong Style 16. Malik has only ever lost singles matches against current champions and Gene is desperate to be a champion – watch out.
● Two talent who do not understand the concept of taking it easy do battle as Chris Ridgeway and Charlie Dempsey face off in a quarter final match.
● Will the friendship of the CPF of Callum, Joe, Danny and Maverick mean enough when they face the impressive foursome of Maggot, Robbie X, Rickey Shane Page and Jack Evans.
● Raven Creed is on an impressive winning streak, but Alex Windsor can point to a win at the 10th Anniversary as proof of her pedigree. No one can write off Eliza Alexander (once known as Lizzy Evo) though. This is a key match for showing who is a serious title contender for the PROGRESS WOMEN’S TITLE.
● Kid Lykos will no longer want to run away from the Nigerian Kaiju Warren Banks with a semi final spot on the line. There is history between these two – and Warren will be looking for revenge as well as stepping nearer to his goal of championship gold.
● The flying Aramis and the man with many names, Johnny PROGRESS may never have faced each other before, but this concluding quarter final promises to lead us into Day 3 in style. Who will come out on top at the Elecdrip (yes, that’s right) Ballroom and advance to the semi final.
● This match is the culmination of the greatest rivalry in PROGRESS recent history.
This outstanding feud must reach a defining conclusion as one will have to leave PROGRESS. Spike issued the challenge – Cara accepted it.
Will the first words Cara Noir ever utters be “I Quit” or will Spike Trivet, who is never shy around a microphone, finally say his final words in a PROGRESS ring.
WHAT AN ENDING to Day 2.
